Instructions

For Pulut

  1. Soak glutinous rice for about 2-3 hours
  2. Wash and drain it
  3. Heat up the pan and follow the water level of our steam it
  4. Add in salt. Mix well and steam glutinous rice for 10 minutes
  5. Remove glutinous rice from Steam It and transfer into That’s A Bowl
  6. Add coconut milk and mix well
  7. Transfer back glutinous rice into Steam It to steam for another 5-7 minutes
  8. Set aside.

For Inti Pedas

  1. In a Turbo Chopper, add in dried shrimp, onion and chili paste
  2. Give a full pull till all ingredients are finely chopped
  3. Heat up Tupperchef Inspire Fryer with 1 tbsp of cooking oil
  4. Once oil is hot, add in chopped ingredients
  5. Stir till is fragrant
  6. Add grated coconut and turmeric powder
  7. Mix well and cook for another 3 -4 minutes on medium heat
  8. Lastly, add sugar and salt to taste
  9. Turn off fire
  10. Set aside

For Inti Manis

  1. Heat Black Series Fry Pan. Add in water, sugar and brown sugar. Mix well and let it simmer for 2 minutes
  2. Add grated coconut and mix evenly
  3. Cook for about 2-3min
  4. Add salt to taste
  5. Turn off fire
  6. Set aside

For Molding

  1. Add 1 tbsp of Inti Pedas / Manis into the Silicon Cup.
  2. Add 1-2 tbsp of steamed glutinous rice on top of the Inti Pedas / Manis. Press it down firmly.
  3. Leave the Pulut Inti in the Silicon Cup for about 2 minutes to set.

Ingredients

For Pulut

  • 220gm glutinous rice
  • 50ml coconut milk
  • ½ tsp salt

For Inti Pedas

  • 5 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp dried shrimp
  • 1 big red onion
  • 2 tbsp chili paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and sugar to taste

For Inti Manis

  • 5 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ snack cup of plain water
